Looking for an ECCN?

I've updated this blog's handy list of corporate export control sites (look to your right and scroll down a bit). Out with a few dead links and in with Agilent - Scientific Software, American Megatrends, Corrent, ESRI (pdf), EqualLogic, Information Security Corp, MKS, PGP (yes, that PGP), Qualcomm, and SmartFTP.

These and the earlier-listed companies are those I'm aware of which are savvy and customer-friendly enough to post their products' ECCNs to the web for the benefit of the exporting community. I remain befuddled as to why this isn't yet a more universal practice.

If your company similarly publishes classifications or other other export info and you don't see your name on the list, drop me a note with the link and I'll add it. Unless, of course, you enjoy answering all those "What's the ECCN for...?" calls and emails all day.

I am looking for NN/MM amd ECCN No. for Intel MD8251AB part. Could you please help me to find it?

Hi,

I am looking for ECCN No. for Intel Pentium M1.8G (LE80536GC0332M 875186 SL8U8) & Celeron M 1.3G (LE80535NC013512 870148 SL8FM). It would be appreciated if you could help me to find it. Thanks a lot.

Just want to say this is the most comprehensive list of Companies for classification info I've come across, great job.

Let me add that Freescale does actually have ECCN and HTS info available on their website. If you have a valid orderable part number (or a partial, such as MPC8555E), you can do a search for it in the part number search field. On the resulting page under the Part Info column, click the More Info icon (icon with th "i" in it) and scroll down to the Ording Information section.

I am currently trying to get answers from Iway and 4D regarding their software but thus far have had no luck. I believe one of them is a French owned company who are not required to follow the DOC mandates for exporting unless we were to provide the license to an offshore supplier.

Do you have a link for SITA software?

How do we find out ECCN numbers for our products? Who uses them?
Is there a list of items like for tariff numbers that we could go to and find out more about it?

Thank you very much for your help.
